Zuckerberg says Facebook made a mistake in removing defense force message

WASHINGTON (AP) – Mark Zuckerberg said Facebook made a mistake failing to cut off the page of a militia organization before this week that called on armed civilians to enter Kenosha, Wisconsin, amid violent protests following a police shootout against black Jacob Blake. Facebook CEO said the “Kenosha Guard” page violated social media site policies and reported through “an organization of other people.” Facebook deleted the page Wednesday after a 17-year-old reportedly killed two other people and injured a third. Zuckerberg made his comments Friday in a video posted on Facebook. Zuckerberg said Facebook found no evidence that Rittenhouse was aware of Kenosha Guard’s website.
