Emmy-nominated manufacturers CJ Faison (Giants) and Takara Joseph (Giants and Project Involve Fellow) to bring the task to life.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that the documentary will highlight “good luck and have an effect on everyday black women, who have become the top social media influencers who dominate the good-looking market and convert their standards, one instruction at a time.”

Fiona Crystal, the project’s publicist, said in a statement that “Social Beauty will take an exclusive look at the lives of these popular influencers and reveal how they have turned a hobby into wealthy business careers.”

Aina, who introduced her YouTube channel in 2009 with the aim of creating tutorials for women of color, is a resounding success. It has almost four million subscribers on the well-known video sharing site.

“I’m so excited to be a part of anything that shows our effect as lovely black women,” Aina told The Hollywood Reporter. “I hope that with this project, other people will see that many of us are passionate, multifaceted and more than you see outside.”

She says at the point of sale that it is an honor for her to be part of a social network that encourages black and dark women to themselves and recognize their beauty, even at a time when pop culture amplified through the media encourages otherwise. .

The news of the documentary follows the exciting new entries of other black women into the attractiveness industry. Rapper Megan Thee Stallion was recently Revlon’s global ambassador.

“Influencers of good black looks have led the rate by highlighting the lack of diversity in the good-looking industry and inspiring more inclusion for women of color,” says film author Andrea Lewis.

Social Beauty is expected to start filming this fall.
