Set up your Linux device to automatically connect to eduroam, UB’s secure, preferred Wi-Fi network, whenever you are on campus.

Note: Administrative privileges are needed on your device.
1. Determine if you are off campus or on campus:
2. Click on the Connection Startup Wizard
3. Click Configure & Connect
4. Will’s download
5. You will be prompted to download a script called SecureW2_JoinNow.run
6 Click Save File, OK, and then open the terminal
7. Access the download folder through CD downloads and entrance
8. Type in sh SecureW2_JoinNow.run and press Enter to run the script file to configure eduroam
9. Enter your UBITName and UBITName Password in their respective fields and press Enter
10. Restart your device.
When you arrive at UB, check your device to make sure it connects to eduroam Wi-Fi.
Install the libraries. Run in a terminal (case sensitive): sudo pacman -S python-dbus Then the “sh SecureW2_JoinNow.run” command will run successfully.
