While Elon Musk is doing everything he can to get Donald Trump back on Twitter, it’s not easy for the former U. S. president. The U. S. has to register on the microblogging platform due to the regulations of its own social media platform called “Truth Social”.
According to a new filing with the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission. When Trump posts something on “Truth Social,” he can’t repost it on any other social network for six hours.
Most likely, these restrictions are meant to drive traffic to “Truth Social,” TechCrunch reports.
The registry states that Trump “may post a message from a non-public account related to political messaging, political fundraising, or voting efforts on any social network at any time.
But he is “generally obligated” to use “Social Truth. “

Trump was kicked off Twitter in January last year for inciting violence on Capitol Hill.

Musk reiterated last week that Twitter, led by Parag Agrawal, repaired Trump’s account.
“Although I think a less debatable candidate would be better in 2024, I still think Trump will be restored to Twitter,” the Tesla CEO said.
Musk had said in the past that he would oppose Trump’s Twitter ban once he took over the microblogging platform.
It recently suspended the $44 billion deal while fighting with Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal over the presence of accounts.
Trump, however, did not subscribe to the microblogging site and said that “Twitter has become very annoying. “
