For everyday work, I use an old, smart Dell tower with an Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of RAM in Windows 10. For external work, I use a Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 running Windows 11. I reduced my camera from a Canon 6D with a new Sigma Zoom 150-600mm to 80D with a Canon 70-300mm IS USM lens; keeping this old setting for capturing bird images is too exhausting.
The software I use the most includes Office 365, the Edge browser, Firefox, Brave, Lightroom, Photoshop and Windows Phone Link. The latter is perfectly suited to my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone, which has unmatched telephoto capability.
I was recently given to physical activity and used a Fitbit Charge five and an Anker Smart Scale P1. I’m also a fan of streaming, so I subscribe to Spotify (for its traditional playlists) and Qobuz (for its sound quality and old catalog). To avoid a remote, I use Amazon Fire TV Cube in the living room, which allows me to verbally tell the TV what I need to watch, connected to a Samsung HDTV.
