An experiment conducted through MyBroadband revealed that Vodacom and MTN recorded the highest use of knowledge by downloading a hundred MB log over the Internet.
To verify the use of information about cellular operators, MyBroadband generated a binary record of one hundred MB and uploaded it to WeTransfer.
Then we downloaded the registration of a Nokia five smartphone, SIM cards from Vodacom, MTN, Cell C and Telkom.
The knowledge balance is checked before and after each download, with a hold after a download to account for a slow balance update.
We started downloading from scratch and reloaded the WeTransfer online page with a new test.
Since the WeTransfer site had to be loaded before the download began, it is expected that just over a hundred MB will be used for the download.
The log was uploaded twice to each network to account for the use of prior knowledge, with the average of any of the tests used.
Vodacom used the maximum knowledge, with an average of 104. 15 MB discounted from the knowledge balance.
MTN used 103. 42 MB on average, with Cell C and Telkom achieving 101. 54 MB and 101. 36 MB respectively.
It should be noted that the registration was loaded much faster on MTN and Vodacom. Faster download speeds may be to blame for a little more knowledge being used through background processes.
The following table summarizes the effects of MyBroadband’s cellular knowledge experience.
