We don’t need to have interaction in a blame game with Center Over Covid-19: AAP MLA Atishi

the magazine loaded

Delhi’s COVID-19 chart is on the rise, as is the fight in the national capital’s pandemic strategy. Disputes between the Centre and the Delhi government over Covid’s policies have recently been news. Party leader Aam Admi (AAP), Atishi Marlena, heads to Outlook to discuss his government’s readiness for the coronavirus pandemic and recent criticisms his party has faced over its reaction to the fitness emergency.

Q) Who do you think deserves the Covid-19 methods for Delhi, the center or the state government?

The center must take the guidelines into account. There is no doubt about that, in fact we have moved forward and followed all the recommendations of the Center, but it is definitely political when they say that the isolation of the house is only undone for Delhi while it continues in other states. It turns out that this is not an epidemiological resolution but a political resolution.

Q) AAP and BJP were involved in a war of words on social media about the Sardar Patel Covid gym in Chhatarpur Why does it say the SPG deserves credit?

A smart question is who paid the cash for the installation? It is funded through the Delhi government and supervised through the district magistrate.Again, the connection to water and electricity is provided through state government.-The Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) does not help, provides doctors.

When Covid’s instances passed unlock phase 1, Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal held lengthy assemblies with various actors such as personal hospitals, hotels, NGOs and banquet halls, among others. It was again the CM who took the initiative of the assembly with the Minister of the Interior of the Union.

Q) CM Kejriwal praised the Center, but the camaraderie was not mutual. It seems that the Centre occasionally disagrees with the SPG government.

We have followed all the central rules very obviously from the beginning. It is undeniable that the Center has helped us with EPI kits, verification kits, oxygen bottles and more.We did everything we could and identified it in public.Far from political policy on this issue, no party would have opposed central government and bjP more than we have in recent times, but by now citizens want the security of governments that the stage is under control.have interaction in politics during a pandemic.

Q) Interior Minister Amit Shah said delhi government sowed concern by making plans 5.5 lakh instances until the end of July. What do you have to say about it?

The point is, a government will have to be prepared for the worst. We cannot prepare for the most productive times. We’ll have to prepare for the worst with beds, fans, oxygen cylinders and other infrastructure. At the time, the duplication rate was 12 days. Now it’s 18 days. Secondly, in a pandemic, there comes a time when you have to talk about danger and tell others that the scenario is serious.Controlling a pandemic has a lot to do with social behavior. It is the government’s duty to prepare and warn citizens.

Q) The HM also stated that it had to interfere after the state government’s alarmism.Has the Delhi government been reluctant to propose an effective Covid strategy?Didn’t you use the era of lockout constructively to build the facility?

What do you mean. Some of the best-known personal hospitals, which treated Covid, ran out of beds. All the stories you hear are about those three or four hospitals. That’s why we promptly intervened and set up a request. But Delhi is the only state where it has general transparency about the number of deaths, the number of ICU, fans, etc.We have outdoor recommendations at each hospital on the number of beds available.a team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Now we are well prepared with the beds.

Q) What happened then? Delhi has more than 80,000 instances now and is the hardest hit city in the country.

Delhi has such high numbers for two reasons: the territory of the Union has a giant proportion of foreign travellers, which has led to the immediate spread of the virus. In March alone, before the central government began examining and quarantined foreign travellers, there were 35,000 foreigners arriving each day.Another explanation is that Delhi has tried more than any other state since the beginning. We’ve never hidden data.

Q) Did changes in quarantine regulations create chaos in the system?

I agree that there was confusion after Deputy Governor Anil Baijal’s U-turn over quarantine rules. Both decisions were strongly opposed through the Delhi government and were overturned. For those who can at home, they deserve to opt for this.to provide comforts to patients who want them. We won’t have to unnecessarily overload the fitness care system, which is already under stress.

Q) Central and Delhi are running a unified strategy lately, are results emerging?

In the last two days, instances have shown a slight decrease despite the accumulation of tests. The NRL hospital recorded a small number of deaths yesterday, which is another smart sign. The Delhi government is establishing a plasma bank, A Step in the Right Direction.A serological survey is underway in collaboration with NCDC to map exposure to the pandemic.Door-to-door investigations were planned after discussion with the central government. But it’s partly confusing because it’s not a transparent direction about what you want to do.A much more effective strategy would be detection and isolation.
