Then there are the same old configurations you’ll see on other cars. Driving allows you to replace the driving profile, driving mode, automatic standby and ESC. Power informs you of the remaining mileage, scheduled charging times, etc. Other cars a million times, when used in the AITO M5, feel pleasantly different: lag-free, intuitive, and the user interface is also great to look at.
However, there was one attractive setup that stood out for us, and that was the Nap mode, with 3 settings: nap, meditation, and breathing. What sets this apart is the popularity rate, speed, and what you can do with the voice assistant. The voice assistant can do everything on the screen, “scroll down” in settings, say “screen”, “HUD brightness set to 0” and “set to 100%”. Voice commands are instantaneous and you don’t want to wake up the assistant.
The way it handles context is also amazing, after setting the brightness of the HUD to 0 and then saying “set to 100%”, it will increase the brightness of the HUD to 100, knowing that this is what you meant. Having a random verbal exchange with your friends will not cause the AI either, it almost magically knows that you are not talking to it and will forget about you: the “smart listening” service is set to 1 minute after the assistant wakes up, listens for 1 minute after the last voice command, and then goes into sleep mode or you can cancel it at any time.
