New for 2022, Scotland’s Gardens Scheme is pleased to launch its first photography competition. The charity invites Scotland’s Gardens Scheme open days this season, to share their own photographs of the gardens opened this year for charity. Applications will be sent to SGS’s website, its social networks and in the 2023 guide.

All photographs in the competition will be included in two evaluation categories: the Judge’s Choice Award and the Audience Award. Scotland’s garden programme is for photographs that tell the story of a lawn and why it is special to you. little more about your photo in the form of registration and this will be taken into account with your registration.

The judges will come with Brian Cunningham, chief gardener of scone Palace and presenter of Beechgrove Garden, with the other judges still announced.

In addition, the winner of the category will receive £150 or a donation of the same amount to the charity of their choice. The deadline to submit programs for the festival is October 15, 22, and voting will take place in November 2022.
