The father of one of the three who suffered a terror weekend accident collapsed when he visited the scene of the fatal incident on Monday.
Three other people died after a head-on collision at Rifle Range Rd in Upper Coomera, Gold Coast, at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The driving force and passenger died at the scene and at one point the passenger was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where he then succumbed to the wounds.
A fourth patient, a 28-year-old boy driving the vehicle at the time, was transferred to the same hospital in a serious condition with pelvic injuries.
Since then, the victims have been named Bryton Thompson, 21, his cousin James Hunter, 21, and Marnie Zuk, 17, who is James’ girlfriend.

Bryton’s father, Arthur Thompson, recorded the accident Monday afternoon and collapsed on the lawn as he approached the place where other people had left flowers for the three victims.
He sat with his head in his hands before a reporter came to agree with him.
Thompson then placed a flower on the site and gave the impression of collecting debris, according to Courier Mail.

Gary Berkowitz, a paramedic from the High Response Unit, one of the paramedics called about the horrible accident.
“Paramedics are asked to revel in the brunt of an hour’s life,” he said.
“Our task is to improve things in any way for those who are suffering and suffering… it’s pretty hard.”
Berkowitz said some passers-by were treated by surprise after trying to keep the victims alive.
“He confronted members of the public who were assisting the wounded,” he said.
“The other right people did as productive as possible with the wounded and suffering.”
Tributes have reached the three young men since news of the twist of fate was revealed.
“Losing a colleague is like wasting a family. The terrible news I made last night of a young man who works for me and who died in a car accident will be etched in my mind,” Billy McKinnon wrote on Facebook.
“It’s the other right people who have taken us off too soon. Rest in peace Bryton Thompson, my friend, you will miss very much.”

“Remembering Marnie Zuk … a lovely woman who laughed and danced in our space many years ago. You’ll be celebrated for how charming you’ve become. Go in peace and love,” Diana Bryson wrote on Facebook.
The Courier Mail reported that a relative of the only survivor had to turn to Facebook to plead with drivers to slow down.
“My son was driving home from the paintings and was hit by the other car that was estimated to kill more than 150 km according to the time, all occupants of this car,” the message said.
The Forensic Accident Unit is investigating whether it accelerated anything in the accident.
Anyone who has witnessed the twist of fate or who has pictures of the dashboard camera should touch the police.
