Update: Bill Mitchell, a pro-Trump conspiracy theorist, denounces a permanent ban on Twitter, triggered by his false accusations. Masks are ‘medically dangerous’

Bill Mitchell, Trump’s pro-expert, has been permanently suspended via Twitter for violating the multi-account social media company’s policy to evade account suspensions.

As host of his own YouTube show, “YourVoice America,” Mitchell promoted QAnon’s far-right conspiracy theories and praised President Donald Trump, even comparing the president to biblical figures. The president returned the favor by resounding to Mitchell more than once.

In a message to Mediaite, a Twitter spokesman said Mitchell’s account had “been permanently suspended for violating Twitter regulations by employing an account to evade suspension of another account.”

Earlier this summer, Mitchell announced that he had created a new social media account on rival platform, Talk, after a wave of conservatives voiced his outrage on Twitter for putting a cautionary tag on some of Trump’s tweets. Mitchell then praised the answers he got in his new social media choice. “If my Twitter engagement equals my engagement with Talking, each and every tweet would have 600,000 impressions,” Mitchell wrote on Twitter on June 30. “So yes, the commitment to Speak is pretty strong. They don’t use algorithms.”

Mitchell did not promptly return a request for comment on his suspension. This article will be updated if one is received.

Update: 8:30 pm EST, 14/08/20: Mitchell responded to his suspension via Talk. The expert claims that allowing him to download the boot from the social networking site “opposite masks”.

“Twitter just suspended me for opposite masks. Who knows if I’ll ever come back,” Mitchell said. “I’m sure your resolution is not political at all.”

Update: 11:30 pm EST, 14/08/20: Mitchell then explained on his account Talk more information about his permanent ban on Twitter, claiming that he started with a one-week suspension by falsely claiming that the mask was “medically dangerous” and that they were looking to circumvent suspension by posting from an election account. This is prohibited through Twitter’s terms of use, but Mitchell said he didn’t know he was breaking regulations by doing so.

After acknowledging that he had damaged the rules, Mitchell expressed dismay that Twitter still chose to ban Trump’s main accounts, calling the resolution “totally absurd” and “censorship to the extreme.”

Obviously, Mitchell wasn’t familiar with his Talk account either, as he begged for the help of his fans when he couldn’t figure out how to post a photo of Twitter email banning his account.
