It’s almost a new year of logos and you know what that means, it’s time to release our (pause for effect) 2025 video game release schedule!
Currently, there are plenty of express dates shown for titles scheduled for release in 2025, but that hasn’t stopped us from putting it all in one position for you. Next year is shaping up to be pretty attractive in terms of new titles, and maybe we’ll even see GTA 6 appear.

So far, the only major piece of hardware we know will be released in 2025 is the long-awaited and much talked about Switch 2, the successor to the existing Switch console. While a release date has not yet been shown, it has been shown that the Switch 2 will be backward compatible with certain Switch games and that Switch Online will also be available on the console.
Recently, the Switch 2 has been officially revealed, giving us the first glimpse at the upcoming console with pictures from every possible angle. The short trailer also seems to show that the Joy-cons will function like a mouse.
