Two Colorado Schools Named Apple Distinguished Schools

Longmont Estates Elementary School and the St. Louis Schools Innovation CenterJohn’s Vrain Valley have been identified as Apple Distinguished Schools, according to Longmont’s leader.

They are the two Colorado schools that won this award this year, sharing the honor with 700 schools worldwide. To commemorate this achievement, the Innovation Center and Longmont Estates Elementary School will host an Apple Distinguished Schools Recognition Night.

The occasion will come with a presentation by Dr. Bill Ziegler, Apple’s Global Program Manager for Distinguished Schools, followed by hands-on sessions of STEM activities. In addition, the Mobile Innovation Lab will be on-site and interactive STEM activities will take place. had for the members of the network.
