Twitter has limited Donald Trump Jr.’s ability to tweet after posting a video featuring a doctor making false statements about coronavirus remedies and pointing out that other people don’t want a mask to prevent the virus from spreading, a Twitter spokesman said Tuesday.
Some of the account’s functions, in addition to the ability to tweet, will be limited by 12 hours, the spokesman said.
The video, which was published through the right-wing media, Breitbart News and went viral online On Monday, showed an organization of doctors making false and questionable statements similar to the coronavirus, adding that masks are not necessary.
Twitter, Facebook and YouTube deleted the video after it started to go viral.
President Donald Trump also retwed several editions of the video on Twitter, however, he posted an edition of the video on the site. His son did, so Twitter only took action opposed to Trump Jr.’s account, a corporate spokesman said.
Trump Jr.’s spokesman had previously tweeted that Twitter had suspended the president’s son account. Twitter said in a statement that the account “had not been permanently suspended.”
Twitter asked the president’s son to delete the tweet with the video. The corporation has already taken him out of public view.
It deserves to be placed on a criminal mobile with others that spread false data about the virus and put lives at risk. We have other people so ignorant that they have this false data. We have several in this blog that serve as an example.
You’ll be imprisoned for being in a left-handed foam bag. Who died and left your comie’s ass guilty of anything?
You know what I mean? This fool is one of the worst believers in false information.
Do you know what this video was?
