Gordon Hayward’s time with the Boston Celtics can almost be measured in injuries.
He began with the terrible leg injury in his first match with the organization. More recently, however, there was a grade III right ankle sprain in Monday’s victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Although Monday’s setback is not the same as in 2017, it’s still pitiful. Especially for a Celtics team that looks ready for a deep playoff series.
The organization revealed Tuesday that Hayward will miss about 4 weeks. Hearing the news, many expressed their sadness on social media.

Hayward averaged the maximum minutes (33.5), problems (17.5) and rebounds (6.7) from Celtic.
