Twitter extends tweet suggestion to Android and Office

On May 5, the official Twitter account announced that a new feature would be tested on iOS: a suggestion to edit your tweet before sending it if the social network detects the use of a “language that can be simply harmful”.

This limited is being released to the general public on Android, Twitter’s main website, and continues on iOS.

Starting with small iOS tests, Twitter has implemented two formula updates:

You can see an example of this in the screenshot below. The functions that the user who writes the potentially offensive tweet should have are to review it, send it as planned, or simply delete it.

This feature reminds us a little of a new addition in the form of a spark that asks users to read an article before retwing it. Since platshape remains a hotbed of hatred and vitriol, any action the company takes to make its users more considerate is a welcome change.

That said, as always, users have another idea. In responses to this ad, others request an editing yetton on the site. In this context, it makes more sense because Twitter asks you to edit before tweeting, however, calls to an editing yetton are common since the platform exists.

For those who wonder, yes, @all_the_sportz is a genuine Twitter account created in April 2017. This is an account that, we assume, is used internally through the platform to verify features because the same account has been used in other new classified features. ads in the past.
