Truth Social, the social network that Donald Trump presented after being presented from Twitter, was not exactly the great fortune that his followers obviously expected. At the end of March, “daily active users” stood at 513,000, compared to about 217 million Twitter visitors, despite Trump Media.
And now, the T. S. gang has made its saddest revelation yet: that anyone who hesitates to sign up deserves to be assured that Trump will likely publish his “truths” elsewhere within hours and, in some cases, before he does so on Truth Social. According to New York Magazine:
An SEC filing through Digital World Acquisition Corp. , the special-purpose acquisition firm that will merge with Trump Media.
So if Trump were to join Twitter, he would only have to wait a quarter of a day to repost his “truths” in the form of tweets. And there are quite a few exceptions: “In addition, you can post a message at any time from a non-public account related to political messaging, political fundraising, or efforts to get the vote on any social media site. “The indistinct term “political message” can only be used to describe most of Trump’s posts.
In other words, according to the company, if you’re thinking about joining Truth Social for Trump, you save yourself a download.
Earlier this month, Elon Musk said that if he bought Twitter, he would allow Trump to return, arguing that it was “not right to ban it” for inciting a violent insurrection because it “alienated much of the country. “For his part, Trump said he wouldn’t sign up for Twitter if he had the chance, a claim that even his closest advisers tell others they don’t believe.
