Former President Donald Trump will limit himself to social media, even if Elon Musk lifts Trump’s ban on Twitter, according to an SEC filing through Digital World Acquisition Corp.
Trump is forced to post first on Truth Social, a new social network he supports, and can’t post the same content on any other social media site for six hours. After that, you can post to “any site you need,” depending on the folder.
The six-hour policy would primarily affect Trump’s use of Twitter if he were allowed to return to the platform with potential owner Musk.
Trump still can’t post political messages, political fundraisers or efforts to get the vote on any platform from a private account at any time, the dossier added, which could give him leeway should he run for 2024.
Digital World Acquisition has reached an agreement to make Trump Media public
Twitter permanently suspended Trump from the platform in January 2021 following his followers’ attack on the U. S. Capitol. UU. La company said it made the resolution after the Jan. 6 riots “because of the threat of additional incitement to violence. “at that time it had more than 80 million fans on the platform.
Trump said he would not return to Twitter even if he was invited, but CNBC had reported in the past that other people close to him said they expected Trump to return to the platform anyway.
