In today’s post, we will show you how to access and run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter, which seems to have been deprecated from Windows 11/10. Technically, the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter hasn’t been removed entirely from the Windows 10 operating system per se. Rather, it has been “buried” or hidden within the Windows 10 v1809 or later, and Windows 11.
The explanation for this is that Microsoft, after careful deliberation over telemetry observation, decided that the hardware and peripheral troubleshooter had the least day-to-day usage and was usually run in tandem with other troubleshooters. Therefore, it was no longer a mandatory and express issue. -Instead, resolution utilities had to be used.
Below is the main and most common hardware that requires a troubleshooter: Keyboard. Bluetooth. Video playback. Audio. Printer. Internet connection. Battery.
However, users of the Windows forums have been asking where it is as it has helped fix some hardware issues.
Highlighted below is a complaint from a Windows user about the lack of this troubleshooter.

Troubleshooter for missing hardware and peripherals
For Windows 11/10 users who still want to run this probably useful tool, don’t despair, as there is a conceivable way to access this troubleshooter.
You’ll want to run the troubleshooter on the command line. To invoke the troubleshooter, simply release the command prompt, then type or copy and paste the command below and press Enter. msdt. exe -id DeviceDiagnostic
Once the troubleshooter displays, you can now proceed to run the tool as usual.
