Travel the Great Lakes in a floating mansion with the new Viking cruise ships

Now you can revel in the Great Lakes as you sail in a sumptuous floating mansion with the new diversity of Viking cruises.

The Viking Octantis, the new expedition ship with the company’s logo, made its first stop in Detroit on Tuesday, launching its touring car on the Great Lakes.

“The Viking Octantis and its sister ship, the Viking Polaris, were designed for discovery, to allow our visitors to explore the world’s most pristine destinations in comfort and with the greatest possible guilt,” said Torstein Hagen, president of Viking in a Liberation.

With Great Lakes cruises of between 8 and 16 days, passengers can see the attractions of the region.

The Great Lakes Collection tour includes stops in Detroit, Niagara Falls, Mackinac Island, and Thunder Bay, among others, the 15-day cruise.

The Great Lakes cruise costs between $5,995 and $13,995.

The Viking Octantis is home to 378 visitors on the 665-foot-long giant ship.

“The largest and most fashionable ship on the Great Lakes, the Viking Octantis, represents Viking’s significant investment in tourism for the region,” a press release said. “The ship will explore routes through the Great Lakes with stops in Canada and the United States in the spring, summer and fall. In 2023, the Viking Octantis will join through its sister shipment, the Viking Polaris for further exploration. “

With spacious cabanas, giant windows outside, high-end restaurants, a pool and spa, Viking said they need you to revel in the world from a new perspective, as long as you don’t get dizzy.
