Google Doodle today is a birthday party by Jerry Lawson, the founder of Videosoft and one of the engineers who helped design the Fairchild Channel F formula (also known as Fun System) that the first video game console with interchangeable games cartridges.
It is absolutely the old feat when you think about it. Now we have passed through an almost completely virtual time. Formula F preceded the NES, which was my first delight with the game cartridges and game cartridges to get rid of Dusty and debris to play the damn game.
Lawson is 82 years old today and one of the pioneering members of the black video game developer community. He joined Fairchild Semiconductor in early Silicon Valley, and his paintings on the F-system paved the way for long-term consoles like Atari and the NES. Read.
