LAKE GOOD VIEW, Fla. (AP) – Tobias Harris of the 76ers returned to the third game of the first round of the Philadelphia playoffs with Boston on Sunday after he widened his face in a fall.
Harris seeks to challenge a shot of Jayson Tatum at 2:40 in the third quarter and his legs unnoticed be unnoticed beneath him through Tatum. Harris fell to the left side of his face. He remained on the ground for several minutes while medical staff attended to him.
He was finally able to leave the box on his own with a towel on his face, however, blood is seen on the towel and in the box. Coach Brett Brown told ESPN after the end of the room that Harris told him he would be out of the box in a while before leaving the box.
The team said he had a laceration to his left eye and withdrew it after a concussion evaluation. He returned to the game with 5:12 remaining in the last quarter with a bandage in his eye.
