Acer is launching 3 new computer models in coordination with today’s Intel Tiger Lake processor launch event. The 3 models are Swift 3 SF313-five3, Swift 3 SF314-five9 and Swift five SFfive14-fivefive; They all have long-lasting Tiger Lake processors with integrated Intel Xe graphics and Intel Wi-Fi 6.

Acer Swift 3 additional readings with Ryzen 4700U: an economical computer that exceeds its category Many revisions have sounded the SF314-42 for its below-average demo brightness, we discovered it more than enough for indoor use, even with intense lighting. The new models promise much brighter screens, if that’s their friction point: the 13.5-inch Swift 3 has a power of 400 nits, while the five-bit Swift has 340 nits.

All 3 models have a thin, lightweight steel chassis with ifive and i7 Tiger Lake processors (not specified above) and up to 16 GB of RAM.Acer has not specified whether laptops can be upgraded, but we believe that Swift 3 models at least won’t, judging by their narrow design (16mm). Laptops are all components of Intel’s “Project Athena” innovation program, and the five Swifts are already benefiting from Intel Evo platform verification, and Swift 3 models point to the same verification waiting for additional adjustments.

If you’re not familiar with verifying the Intel Evo platform, it turns out that it all comes down to having an Intel and Intel processor rarely bothers much; however, it specifies certain minimums that would be beyond Intel’s control, which adds a battery life of more than nine hours to a combined workload. The combined workload, which is in the small print of the Intel Evo touchdown page, is quite similar to PCMark 10’s Modern Office battery test, which includes Internet browsing, video conferencing, desktop programs, and downtime.

In itself, a target time of nine hours in this type of combined workload is not really impressive; However, we found that the fine print specified that the screen deserves to have an LCD screen brightness of 2 five hundred nits.It also means a relatively bright display.- our Spyder five Pro colorimeter measured the maximum brightness of the SF314-42 powered via Ryzen 4700u in just 160 nits. This would possibly also be some of the “possible adjustments” to download the new SF314-fivenine certification, powered by Tiger Lake; it was the only one of 3 models that did not have a brightness specified in today’s Acer press release.

The Swift 3 of 14 “deserves to charge $700, the Swift 3 from 13 and five” to $800 and the Swift from five to $1,000.We look forward to reviewing and reading about at least one style of the new Swift laptops supplied with Tiger Lake as soon as available.
