Most of us have suffered from acne at some point in our lives. And, according to a TikTok author, vitamin B5 may be the solution. Is it too smart to be true? Read.
It is estimated that 95% of other people over the age of 11 to 30 are affected by acne to some extent, and women are sometimes more likely to suffer from it than men. While acne can cause discomfort, fortunately there is a developing movement of skin positivity, which sees many content creators celebrating, rather than criticizing, the diversity of the skin.
Still, it’s understandable that acne should seek out and try other remedies to soothe their skin condition, especially if it causes them pain. A TikTok creator, @spa. mma, shared a clip that appeared to show her skin was thinning after two weeks of taking vitamin B5. You can watch the video here:

GLAMOUR spoke with Jessica Sepel, clinical nutritionist and founder of JSHealth, and Dr. Miriam Adebibe, aesthetic doctor and co-founder of Victor
Jessica says, “No study suggests that vitamin B5 can lighten the skin in 2 weeks,” explaining that while she’s a “VERY vitamin-savvy,” she “also believes in balance when it comes to fitness solutions, not the extremes,” adding that “any solution takes time, especially a sustainable one. “
