Carpets are an essential component of the interior decoration, offering the base on which your furniture and other decorations rest. However, they are very difficult to clean: you have to take them outdoors and use a multitude of other equipment and cleaners or maybe spend a lot of cash to let a professional take care of them. You start to wonder if your aesthetic appeal values the hassle of maintenance and maintenance.
Before postponing carpet cleaning for another week, you may need to take a look at the Ruggable carpets. These are two-part carpet systems and non-slip pads that are easy to put together and maintain, and especially washable in devices. After looking at a Ruggable carpet in my own apartment, I discovered that enjoying a sublime carpet in my house can be really simple, not to mention an affordable price.
After measuring the length of the carpet I wanted, I scrolled through a variety of patterns and colors on the Ruggable and chose the one that matched the taste of my apartment. There are intricate patterns and geometric prints, as well as fashionable prints, so finding one that matches your aesthetic shouldn’t be too difficult. There is also a smart diversity of tastes: 3’x 5′, 2.5’x 7′, 5’x 7′ and 8’x 10′.
The carpets are composed of 3 layers: a top surface in 100% woven polyester caterpillar, an internal barrier 100% water resistant polyurethane in the middle and a lower surface in 100% polyester point.
The 1/8 inch thick carpet canopy will come with a carpet mat. This non-slip cushion is also 1/8 inch thick and features Ruggable’s patented “Cling Effect Technology”, which helps keep the carpet and cushion canopy glued.
Once you have unrolled the blanket and seal, which arrive combined in a box, align them with each other and tie the pieces together. The bottom of the carpet awning will adhere to the more sensitive surface of the carpet, which has a texture and grip similar to those of Velcro. Once the two pieces are joined, they may not collapse if you shake them and you have to manually separate the layers.
Edge alignment may take a little while the first time you do so, but it’s generally not too complicated. The whole process, from the carpet outlet from the box to the full assembly, took me 10 minutes.
The genuine check came when it came time to do it after a few weeks of normal traffic from my roommates and our cat. I got rid of the cushion cover and threw the lid on the hinge device in the bloodless water configuration, then I simmered it in the dryer (the medium also works well, but do not use the top heat).
It’s as undeniable and fast as having a normal load of clothes, and the canopy as new. Then I just refilled it on the carpet and carpet in a position to be reused.
The carpet cannot be cleaned with the device and should be treated to avoid staining. However, since the most sensitive rarely come into contact with anything other than the carpet cover, the time spent treating stains will likely be minimal.
The carpets are incredibly thick but offer enough comfort without blocking door openings, and are less difficult to move and bring as it can bend the carpet cover.
A set of 5ft x 7ft carpets costs an average of $130, which is comparable to other carpets you can find in Wayfair, but the transparent differences are the unique two-piece formula and the cleanliness quality of the device.
Sturdy carpets are designed for others who lead a naturally busy and messy life. Most of us do not live in the pristine environments caught through designer magazines, however, the convenience and taste of a Ruggable carpet brought me closer to that dream.
