Fairphone smartphone logo just announced the world’s first modular 5G smartphone, the Fairphone four 5G, and promises that the new device will offer functionality in a more durable package than its rivals.
If you need to get one of those phones, have two functions to decide from the moment it launches on October 25; one style comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the other surpasses 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Both devices also feature the same 6. 3-inch Full HD display, a replaceable 3,905mAh battery that can be charged to 50% in 30 minutes (with a 20W USB-C charger) and 3 cameras, a 48MP main camera and a 48MP ultra. wide camera on the back, plus a 25 MP selfie camera on the front.
The Fairphone four 5G will run Android 11 when it launches, but Fairphone has guaranteed the software for at least the next few years, until the end of 2025, adding updates to Android 12 and Android 13. The company expects to continue further until the end of 2027.
Fairphone will deal only with your software, but also with your hardware. If you log into your new Fairphone four on their website, you’ll get a huge five-year warranty at no extra cost.
When the Fairphone four 5G launches in Europe on October 25, you’ll be able to acquire the 6GB RAM/128GB garage style for £499 (around $670/AU$930) and the 8GB RAM/256GB garage option for £569 (around $765). /AU$1,065), though it can’t be available in the US or Australia.

While the Fairtelephone four 5G has decent specs at its price, this phone goes beyond its specs. To this end, Fairtelephone is expanding its measures to make the Fairtelephone four its most durable phone to date.
