The Lenovo Legion Go is here! This iteration is not intended to update the Lenovo Legion Go; Instead, it serves as a more compact option. Wait two models, one that is executed in Windows 11 and the other in Steamos, the same operational formula that leads to the steam bridge. Add the new Ryzen Z2 Go from AMD, and it is the computer that many (including me) expected.

Lenovo’s new handheld features an all-new streamlined design reminiscent of ASUS ally ROG and ROG ally X. IT has an 8-inch (1,920 x 1,200) 16:10 120Hz touchscreen, which is smaller than the 8. 8-inch display of the 8. 8-inch display of the original Legion Go 8. 8-inch display.
Despite that, it’s still larger than the 7-inch display of most handhelds like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally. Given its smaller size and light 1.6-pound weight, Lenovo’s handheld should be easier to travel with. If you’re at home, you can connect the Legion Go S to various devices thanks to its pair of USB4 ports and lone microSD card reader.
You can configure the Go S Legion with an Ryzen Z1 Extreme or AMD Ryzen Z2 Go AMD, up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB SSD storage. The Z2 Go processor is based on Zen3 + and RDNA 2 technology, which in Zen4 and RDNA2 of the excessive Ryzen Z1. The models with the Ryzen Z2 Go chip will be more favorable to a budget. With respect to connectivity, the Legion of Go S admits Wi-Fi 6th and Bluetooth 5. 3.
The style of Steamos Legion Go s is the maximum attraction of the two, because it is the first non -listed pocket PC that uses the valve operation formula. If you have read one of our portable opinions, you know that Windows 11 has been a main position for those formulas because Microsoft’s operational formula works well in those formulas.
When we reshaped the ASUS ROG Ally X into a steam bridge through the installation of Steamos, we’ve proven that Windows 11 kills functionality and battery life. As such, the Legion goes with Steamos can replace the situation. And interestingly, the Legion goes with Windows 11 prices $11 a hundred more than the one running Steamos, which makes it even more appealing.
The Legion Go S should be a worthy alternative to the original Legion Go, especially since the new handheld has a model powered by SteamOS. We’ll have a full assessment of what this device can do after we’ve tested it, but right now, it has the potential to be my favorite gaming handheld of 2025.
