Speck has brought many of its iPhone thirteen case designs to the iPhone 14, adding popular transparent models like the Presidio Perfect-Clear and Perfect-Clear handles, and the Presidio2 Pro instances. Speck with MagSafe built in charges around $50, while its Candyshell Pro case is still the cheapest at around $25 but doesn’t have MagSafe.
All new styles have smart drop coverage (13 to 16 feet, depending on style), as well as Speck’s Microban antimicrobial coverage. Whichever style you choose, Speck offers a reduction for first-time buyers.
MagSafe instances can be expensive, but if you’re looking for a transparent and affordable MagSafe case for your new iPhone 14 series phone, Spigen’s Ultra Hybrid MagFit is a smart price of around $24. Spigen also sells a non-Mag edition of this case for around $8 less, and also offers several other iPhone 14 case options.
OtterBox has made a call for itself with its superprotective case from the Defender series, but most people need something less bulky on those days. I like the Symmetry Series Plus cases, which come in other sunshades (including the new Euphoria color) and have MagSafe. The Symmetry Plus Pop PopSockets PopGrip case supports wireless charging, which is important. OtterBox offers a discount for first-time shoppers on its site.
Case-Mate makes several eye-catching instances for the other iPhone 14 styles, but its square Blox case is the one I like the most. It’s available in a variety of color options, supports MagSafe, obviously has smart corner coverage, and is priced quite high. I show the transparent style on a dark purple iPhone 14 Pro, but it’s also worth checking out the other colors, adding the icing on the rainbow.
Caseology has created decent budget instances in the past, adding NanoPop, Parallax, Skyfall, and Vault. Their new Capella Mag Clear is one of the cheapest transparent MagSafe instances ever seen.
Lupa Legacy manufactures a few other wallet instances for iPhone 14 models. I like the folio edition that has a magnetic closure and is made of fake leather in a variety of color options. It has 3 internal slots in the canopy for buying credit cards or money and provides decent corner coverage against drops. Faux fur looks decent (the case looks a little more expensive than it is, which is one thing).
The only drawbacks are that there is no MagSafe built into the housing and the housing becomes a support foot. But you can rate your phone very well on a wireless qualifier.
Element Case makes its $250 high-end Back Ops X5 case for the iPhone 14, but its more affordable Special Ops X5 MagSafe case is an excellent case with improved coverage from the corners and raised edges on the back and front to help you save your screen and cameras crack. It also has smart-looking handles. I wish it had been available in other color options, but that’s my only complaint. It’s a very smart deal.
Cyrill is a sister logo of Spigen, and its instances are arguably sleeker, though they charge a few dollars more. I like UltraColor Mag ($20) and Kajuk Mag ($27) is also very nice, thanks to their “vegan fake leather back. Shine Mag transparent instances ($30) are superbly designed with “a touch of brightness” for those who like a little flash in their iPhone case.
British case maker Gear4, now owned by Zagg, makes cases that match OtterBox and Speck, all covered with the company’s D3O damping curtains and with beveled edges on the phone. I like the new Milan Snap (pictured) and Santa Cruz Snap, either supplied with MagSafe and designed for 13-foot ion drops. However, there are several other instance styles available, at most with eye-catching layouts. They start at $30 for non-MagSafe cabinets, but most MagSafe models charge between $50 and $60.
Like Lifeproof, Catalyst has made a call for itself with waterproof cases, but now it’s focusing on popular protective case features and offering two new models for the iPhone 14: the $40 Influence (pictured) is my favorite, but the new $50 Crux case is also smart (both are compatible with MagSafe). They have perforations in the corners that allow you to connect accessories (a strap is included, but Catalyst also sells other accessories). Both have 10-foot drop protection.
The diversity of Nomad’s leather instances comes to the iPhone 14. However, Nomad now offers two qualities of leather: the popular variety and a high-end Horween that costs $20 more ($70 instead of $50). At least the Horween edition is designed to expand a “sturdy” patina because the oils in your skin interact with the leather over time. The new trendy leather case is offered in black, brown, English tan and a lighter herbal colour that I like. They are designed for autumn coverage. 10 feet (3 meters) and is supplied with MagSafe. (Personally, I like the English beige color shown on the left. )Meanwhile, the Modern Leather Folio (middle photo) costs $60 in black or brown.
There’s also a more affordable Sport edition for $40 that’s also supplied with MagSafe. It’s not a leather case though, but it looks stylish; is shown on the right. In addition, Nomad has a sturdy new case with “reinforced” protectors and 15-foot drop coverage that costs $50 with MagSafe.
Casetify offers 3 fundamental templates that you can customize with any of Casetify’s inventory templates or anything else that isn’t public (like your name). New to the range, the Bounce case provides even more corner coverage than the Ultra Impact case (both MagSafe compatible). Some models are random and many are aimed at teenagers.
I deserve to point out that the costs seem to have increased again. Casetify instances now start at $68 (yes, that’s high), we deserve to see some discounts.
Rokform has been making rugged iPhone instances for years, and in addition to their toughness, their main feature is the ability to use them with mounts, adding motorcycle mounts and motorcycle mounts, which are sold separately. Personally, I prefer the Crystal series, but the rugged case is a bit more robust. The new iPhone 14 instances also support MagSafe.
Rokform iPhone 14 instances have detachable magnets and support wireless charging if you remove the included center magnet. “With the back magnet still intact, you can still qualify wirelessly while the magnetic mount and all our brackets,” says Rokform.
Incipio will offer many new instances for the iPhone 14, adding old favorites like Grip with MagSafe, the rugged Duo with MagSafe (12-foot drop protection) and Organicore, a 100% compostable eco-friendly case that can now be had with translucent feedback. It also has licensing agreements with Kate Spade and Coach, and some of the cases offer eye-catching designs.
I like the new Shape with MagSafe (pictured left), AeroGrip with MagSafe and 16ft drop coverage (middle photo) and Idol cases. You have to search the Incipio online page to locate those cases, but they’re worth checking out. The shape is found in cool designs, even larger than the pattern presented here.
Incipio instances start at $35 for a non-MagSafe case and $45 for MagSafe instances.
Tech21 offers a variety of iPhone 14 instances, adding its popular Evo Check (pictured), which ships with MagSafe for $50. There are other instances to choose from as well, adding the ultra-ive Evo Max, which is designed for 20 feet drop and has a sliding canopy for the iPhone 14’s rear cameras, as well as a case you can attach to your belt.
While they don’t have MagSafe, I’m a fan of Clckr cases, which feature an integrated kickstand and a grip strap (available in purple or black) that unfolds and fits the back of your phone. Clckr only sells the holder/accessory strap to stick on the back of your phone (or in a case), however, the iPhone case with the built-in stand accessory is better. At launch, only the transparent edition of the case is available, but Clckr’s Saffiano leatherette case will return for the iPhone 14 (I liked the blue edition for the iPhone 13).
With the stand in position, you can use your device hands-free in portrait or landscape mode. Please note that you can rate your phone wirelessly with this case, you need to be more careful to place it in the correct position on a wireless qualifier for it to work.
Smartish’s affordable, undeniable, and narrow wallet instances are back for the iPhone 14. The Wallet Slayer 2. 0 case (pictured) comes in several other models, adding the Groovy color shown here. You have 3 more cash credit cards, and you can use one of your credit cards as support. However, its only disadvantage is that it does not support wireless chargers and MagSafe.
Smartish also sells a MagSafe case called Gripzilla. Es one of magSafe’s maximum instances and it’s easy to grab, as the call suggests.
Some other people prefer not to have a case on their phone or simply need something very thin that provides minimal protection. If you’re that kind of person, a Totallee case might be what you need.
There are several models to choose from, with the frosted edition (pictured on the right) regarded as the world’s thinnest iPhone case – it’s almost as thin as paper. It is available in several color options.
The case costs $39, which sounds a lot for its thinness, but it’s eco-friendly (it’s compostable) and has a raised “edge” around the camera that avoids damaging the camera lens, Totallee says.
Totallee also makes a very thin transparent TPU case, the “soft clear” (shown on the left on the iPhone 14) that provides a little more coverage for the same price. I prefer this one, but it’s a bit thicker.

Personally, I like cases that are too thick but offer smart fall protection, with a border on the edge of the screen (sometimes called a “screen bumper”) and raised corners that help prevent the screen from breaking if your phone deserves to fall upside down. A folio cover will better protect your screen.
The good news is that you don’t want to buy a super-protective iPhone 14 case like the OtterBox Defender for smart protection. Most instances are fairly thin and offer drop protection of at least 6 feet. I have included a very thin case in this list for those who prefer minimal protection. Before you opt for a case like that, don’t forget how much your phone costs, but that’s better than not having a case. Make sure you get a tempered glass screen protector. for your iPhone 14 style to prevent deep scratches and protect the screen.
All iPhone 14 models come with Apple’s MagSafe feature, which provides faster wireless charging with compatible chargers. It also supports optional accessories, such as the Magsafe wallet, mini wallets, and holders, which magnetically attach to the back of your phone. Like the iPhone 13, the iPhone 14 has “a diversity of magnets” (Apple says they are recycled) built around a charging coil that can generate up to 15 watts of power.
However, if you want to use those MagSafe accessories without taking your phone out of its case, you want a phone case provided with the MagSafe stand. The MagSafe symbol is a circle with a small tube underneath. You can see it in transparent cases, however, it is built internally into the case, so if it is not transparent, just see it from the inside.
If you already have a MagSafe accessory, or plan to buy MagSafe accessories long-term, you need to get a MagSafe compatible case; This is a smart choice to have. With this in mind, most of the instances in this summary ship with MagSafe.
Overall, yes, about $10 more. There are more affordable MagSafe instances that charge around $20, but the maximum charge exceeds $30. We see instances of some corporations that are necessarily the same, but one has MagSafe and the other doesn’t, and the MagSafe edition regularly sells for $10 more. It may seem a little too expensive to pay for anything that doesn’t look like an upgrade, but over time, MagSafe support can result in less “taxes. “
