Inspirotec specializes in detecting allergens in the air, employing an air sampling device to capture and measure bacteria and viruses, adding COVID-19, and has been operating since April 2019 in RFU’s Helix 51 incubator, where it occupies approximately 1800 square feet of space. The Innovation and Research Park (IRP) agreement states that Inspirotec will license 6,773 square feet on the fourth floor of the 100,000-square-foot facility, adding a 12-month option for another 2,800 square feet on the same ground and an option to renew for another five years. RFU plans to complete the structure of the Inspirotec facility in the spring of 2021.
“Getting our first tenant is a step in expanding our study collaborations between industry and academia,” dr. Wendy Rheault, president and CEO of RFU. ” The IRP aims to be a fertile environment for collaboration and creativity between educational and business partners. “
