The Texans couldn’t tie the Bengals early, however, Stroud discovered fellow rookie Tank Dell for Houston’s first landing in the second quarter to tie the game at seven apiece.

As Stroud tied the score with his own, rushing 8 yards, Burrow threw his first interception of the game on a top pass to tight end Drew Sample. He would throw one in the Bengals’ next practice with a bad pass in the end zone to kill a potential drive.
However, Stroud, who is rarely eliminated, threw one on the next property that perfectly set up the Bengals for a one-yard landing through Joe Mixon to put the Bengals within three.
In the end, the Bengals’ struggles and offensive excesses were capitalized on through Stroud and the Texans, who continue to lead this season.

Stroud finished with 356 yards after his record last week with one landing and one interception on 23 of 39 shooting.
Another surprising performance from the Texans was Devin Singletary, starting with the injured Dameon Pierce, who rushed for 150 yards on 30 carries with a touchdown.

Chase finished with 124 yards for the Bengals, while Tyler Boyd had 8 catches for 117 yards. That accounted for most of Burrow’s 347 yards on 27 of 40 through the air.
