Tesla has recalled about 700,000 of its electric vehicles due to an issue with the tire pressure monitoring formula caution light.
The light may not stay on between driving cycles, failing to warn the driver about low tire stress and increasing the risk of an accident, the automaker said.
The factor affects some Model 3, Model Y and Cybertruck vehicles, Tesla added.
It will be resolved with a free update.
Letters notifying owners of the affected cars are expected to be sent on 15 February next year.

Tesla has issued several recalls throughout the year.
The automaker, founded and led by Elon Musk, recalled 1. 8 million vehicles in July due to a hood problem that could increase the risk of an accident.
In February, the company recalled about 2. 2 million cars in the U. S. because some of the dashboard lights were too small.
Its Cybertruck has now been recalled seven times, with a recall last month involving around 2,400 vehicles.
