Tesla loses corporate sales because Elon Musk ‘goes against Tesla’s mission’

Tesla is squandering sales in Germany because of what one company sees as CEO Elon Musk’s opposition to Tesla’s project to boost sustainable energy.

Tesla was originally founded with a project to “accelerate the arrival of electric transportation,” which later evolved into “the arrival of sustainable energy. “

However, many other people have raised questions about CEO Elon Musk’s commitment to the Tesla project in recent years.

He sold tens of billions of Tesla’s inventory to buy Twitter, laid off the Tesla charging team that built the world’s most productive EV charging network, eliminated less expensive EV programs, and fully supported a U. S. election candidate who actively opposed Tesla’s mission. Array and called for an end to incentives for electric vehicles, which Tesla benefited greatly from but are now more mandatory for other EV startups.

Many former Tesla enthusiasts have said they no longer plan to help the company due to Musk’s lack of support for the mission. Some analysts are trying to assess whether this is starting to have an effect on Tesla’s sales.

Now, a German company has shown that it will stop buying Tesla cars for its fleet because of Elon Musk.

Rossmann, one of Europe’s largest pharmacy chains, announced in a press release:

ROSSMANN will stop purchasing Tesla cars for its fleet with immediate effect. The resolution concerns the incompatibility between Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s statements and the values Tesla stands for with its products.

Company spokesperson Raoul Roßmann said:

Elon Musk does not hide his own from Donald Trump. Trump has continuously called the climate update a hoax; this attitude contrasts sharply with Tesla’s project to help protect the environment by producing electric cars.

Rossmann has purchased many Tesla cars as part of its fleet electrification initiatives. He said he would keep those cars for reasons of “sustainability and resource conservation,” but would no longer buy Tesla cars.

“Some analysts are looking to assess whether this is beginning to have an have an effect on on Tesla’s sales. “

Are you starting to have an effect? The impact began years ago. It’s only getting worse because Elon is getting more and more extreme. Tesla is not only wasting sales in Germany. Car rental companies, which buy about 10% of all new cars in Germany, lost. They are wasting the fleet-related business of giant corporations like Rossmann. Tesla is losing money in all segments of the market.

Tesla has lost 41. 1% in Germany year-to-date (January-July). It’s a disaster. I guess Elon will get another $50 billion because he’s a business genius. ?

It’s pretty far-fetched that a giant company like that would use a particular press release to denounce the CEO of one of its suppliers.

But it does show that Elon’s latest action is having a direct effect on his sales.

That’s why CEOs of giant corporate clients tend not to worry too much about politics, but Elon is past that point. He thinks he has a sacred project to prevent the left from waking up, or stoking culture wars because he uses a media platform that deserves the division, vitriol and nonsense that culture wars entail.

Anyway, I think Rossmann is right. It no longer seems aligned with Tesla’s project.
