TCL Stylus 5G is the company’s first phone with a pen

TCL launches its first smartphone with built-in stylus that comes out when you want and hides the inside of the phone when you don’t.

The aptly named TCL Stylus 5G is a mid-range smartphone with 6. 81-inch LCD screen, MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor, 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage and 4 rear cameras a 50MP main camera.

But it’s the display and stylus that sets the phone apart from other TCL devices. The phone has a giant 2460 x 1080 pixel HDR display with a touch sample rate of 120 Hz. And you can interact with TCL’s stylus when you need to point to documents, take handwritten notes, annotate photos, or do anything else that requires a tip thinner than your fingertip.

While it’s a capacitive pen rather than an active pen that supports scrolling movements or tension sensitivity, the phone has some pen-specific features, adding a pen-centric app launcher that provides quick access to apps optimized for pen input and the ability to take notes on the screen even before turning on the device. You can simply take out the stylus and without delay start writing or drawing on the screen.

The phone features a 4,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support, a microSD card reader that supports cards up to 2TB, a side fingerprint sensor built into the power button, a 13MP front camera, and 4 rear cameras:

The phone’s MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor includes two ARM CortexA76 processor cores with speeds up to 2. 2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores up to 2 GHz, as well as Mali-G57 MC graphics.

TCL says the phone is expected to take full advantage of primary networks under 6GHz, but launches today as a T-Mobile exclusive with costs starting at $258 from T-Mobile and $269 from T-Mobile’s prepaid subsidiary, Metro.

Liliputing’s main profit resources are advertising and associated links (if you click the “Buy” button on the most sensitive part of the page and buy anything on Amazon, for example, we will get a small commission).

But there are several tactics to run the site, even if you use an ad blocker* and hate online shopping.
