The first level of the Falcon 9 returned to Earth about 8 minutes after launch. He made a motorized vertical landing on the “Just Read the Instructions” drone, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
It’s the thirteenth launch and landing of this specific first stage, according to a SpaceX mission description. Half of its 12 flights to date have been Starlink missions.
Meanwhile, the Falcon 9 stage carried the 23 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit (LEO), where they were due to deploy about 65 minutes after liftoff.
