Jan. 2 (UPI) — SpaceX has delayed the launch of its Thuraya 4 project from the Cape Canaveral space station in Florida until Friday, the company announced Thursday.
“Based on the all-electric Airbus Eurostar-Neo platform, Thuraya 4-NGS will integrate a 12-meter L-band antenna and a payload with onboard processing that will offer complex routing flexibility of up to 3,200 channels with allocation force dynamics. in several spot beams,” the Space Coast Tourism Office reported on its website.
The top-tier booster is expected to land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas drone parked in the Atlantic Ocean after being launched from the Falcon Nine about two and a half minutes after liftoff.
The top-tier booster lands on the drone about 8 1/2 minutes after liftoff. The Thuraya satellite four is expected to deploy 35 minutes after liftoff.
