Cohesity has decided to provide Siemens with a fashionable knowledge backup and control solution for more than three hundred Windows servers in 39 countries, as well as a long-term archive in Switzerland.
Siemens has an active international activity and focuses on intelligent infrastructure for buildings and distributed energy systems, such as automation and digitization in the processing and production industries.
This new logo assignment will see Atos, a global leader in virtual transformation, provide Cohesity’s answers to enable a comprehensive knowledge control formula to manage Siemens’ long-term backup and restore, knowledge garage, and file needs, which involve storing secure knowledge for 12 years..
“Cohesity’s scalable knowledge control convinced us from the start,” says Frederik Janssen, Chief IT Strategy Manager at Siemens
“Your solution was perfectly suited to the desires we had, especially in the backup and recovery spaces.Soon, we’ll have a flexible, highly scalable and fashionable solution for knowledge backup and recovery that works with all of our key hardware and software solutions.
“We have a centralized, easy-to-use formula that includes branch offices, so we don’t necessarily want to send IT experts everywhere.”
Cohesity can be centrally controlled by an undeniable user interface (UI) with a “single window”.The solution will provide optimal knowledge backup capabilities across Siemens’ global network, even in low-bandwidth branch offices, through Cohesity’s built-in deduplication and knowledge compression technologies.
Cohesity greatly simplifies this procedure and can support knowledge that in the past simply did not subsidize well due to the legacy product and extensive infrastructure systems that were once used through the world’s generating power.
“Siemens has a wide diversity of sites that required modern backups with emerging new desires across the company,” says Dirk Marichal, EMEA Vice President of Sales, Cohesity.
“We are proud to work with Siemens and Atos to provide their users with a cloud-like experience through an on-site solution, which can be extended at any time to integrate with any hyperscalator of their choice.”
“We were invited to talk about the desires for safeguarding, and then, during the evidence of the concept, more desires were understood. We were able to identify more benefits to the project, such as increased bandwidth usage, ease of integration, and an “Effect on Knowledge Efficiency.I’m sure there will be a lasting date here as we grow and provide more scale, roi on investment and business information,” Marichal said.
“We were inspired by the functionality of the Cohesity generation for Siemens,” says Dr. Jorg Bauer, COO of the Global Siemens Account at Atos.
“Together with Siemens and Cohesity, we are increasingly creating use cases to use this comprehensive knowledge control platform, in other scenarios and business sets. With Cohesity, we now have a solution provider that meets all Siemens needs now and in the future.»
