About SBOM
An SBOM is a record of all the software parts that make up a product. It is a complete and officially structured list of parts, libraries and modules included in the software. An analogy for SBOM is the list of nutritional items found in food products, such as a can of coke. A list of Coca Cola items includes data that can be used to assess allergy risk, expiration dates, and other food protection data. Just as food products are mandated to provide this list to consumers, SBOM is temporarily adjusting to a similar popular in the software industry.
The White House signed an executive order in May 2021 stipulating that all vendors tasked with offering software to federal agencies must obtain an SBOM. Organizations and governments are increasingly aware of the importance of software chain of origin security. Many regulations come into effect in and around August 2022, with more to follow. SBOM is expected to be a global popular in all sectors.
Cybeats SBOM Studio provides unique equipment to manage SBOM wishes and software vulnerabilities, and provides proactive threat mitigation for your software source chain. Key product features include:
SBOM document control and repository
Vulnerability, threat intelligence, management
Software License Violation Alerts
Exchange of SBOM with regulatory authorities, at a cost
The Company does not make it explicit or particular that the agreement referred to herein has, or will necessarily lead to, advertising commitments involving advertising profits for any Cybeats product line or for Scryb Inc.
