Samsung to move a giant from smartphone production to India

Samsung will move a significant portion of its smartphone production to India, according to a new report by The Economic Times.

Sources close to the existing scenario say Samsung has already informed the Indian government of its goal of making phones worth more than $40 billion over the next five years. Most phones manufactured in India, priced in excess of $200, will go for export to all countries of the world. Therefore, it is very likely that your next Samsung smartphone will be manufactured in India.

Samsung closed its last ing plant in China last year. Previously, the Korean tech giant opened its largest smartphone factory in Noida, India, which will be Samsung’s main production facility in the future.

Another Samsung smartphone production center is Vietnam, which is the largest exporter of smartphones after China.

At their last press conference, Koreans paid close attention to the interaction between the company and its fans, as well as their efforts to listen to user requests. One of those demands to make the life cycle of your smartphones bigger. And Samsung listens. Koreans have talked about the new smartphone software policy, which offers a three-year operational formula update cycle. It is rumored that the policy will take effect from the Galaxy S10, i.e. last year’s flagship products will get not only Android 11, but also Android 12 in a year.

At this point, Samsung has been updating flagship products for two years, then switching to how to offer security patches (and not even every single month). Now the only question is how long it will be after the release of the latest edition of the new Android. As a reminder, Android 11 will be available for Pixel smartphones, probably on September 8.

It will be mentioned that the corporation recently unveiled the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones, and here is a reminder of the Ultra model.
