Samsung will soon release its most exciting Galaxy smartphone of the year. But you might have to forget it after reading this.
In a new exclusive, the ever-excellent SamMobile revealed the first main points about the successors to Samsung’s Galaxy S20 (nicknamed Galaxy S21/S30) and the YouTuber Mauri QHD reported what we already know is its revolutionary update.
29/07 update: Mauri QHD has revealed a new update to the Galaxy S21 compared to the Galaxy S20 and the next Note 20: a leap in build quality. The YouTuber says Samsung has to abandon the debatable ‘glasstic’ hybrid chassis (glass and plastic) used in the basic Galaxy S and Note models with the S21. These finishes have been considered reasonable across many and an overly competitive cost-cutting exercise, as the costs of those devices are still approaching $1,000. A caveat: Mauri says it’s Samsung’s thought “automatic”, so it’s a topic to replace if the pressure on margins increases.
30/07 update: Other Galaxy S21 news has been released through Samsung’s popular SamMobile online page, which states that the next generation’s flagship product will have a particularly advanced front camera. SamMobile says this will be achieved by expanding the sensor length and adding optical symbol stabilization. Two sensors are being considered: a 48MP 1/2-inch sensor and a 1/2.55-inch 12MP sensor, larger than any samsung has used before on the front of its phones. That said, it’s the inclusion of OIS that can be the maximum advantage, since selfies are taken at your fingertips with many more tremors than a popular rear camera photo. For selfie fans, this can make the Galaxy S21 series your smartphone.
To break things down, SamMobile says that the maximum of what they have learned about the diversity of the Galaxy S21 would possibly not be a surprise: 3 models, like the previous Galaxy S10 and S20 levels, 5G in all spaces (with some regional features only 4G) and 128/256 GB garage functions as standard. Yes, I think the diversity of the Galaxy S21 will also be expensive but, if you can only a Note 20 at this point, my recommendation would be to wait for the arrival of the S21 in February. If Samsung’s ultimate product can meet its first criteria, you’ll be glad you did.
