The assistant’s arrival on the Galaxy Watch 4 comes after Google announced that its own Pixel Watch would launch later this year. Although Google’s Pixel Watch would possibly compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4 at the hardware level, the Wear OS operating formula will continue to evolve across either company.
This new edition of Wear OS is also expected to come to watches from Fossil, TicWatch and smartwatch brands later in 2022.
