Samsung Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G will possibly launch soon in India. South Korea’s smartphone logo has yet to verify the arrival of new 5G smartphones, but these have reportedly been indexed on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. The Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G will likely succeed last year’s Galaxy F05 and Galaxy M05, respectively. Both models would be supplied with a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and a 6. 7-inch display.
As per a MySmartPrice report, the Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G have been listed on the BIS website with model numbers SM-E066B/DS and SM-M066B/DS, respectively. The DS in the model number could refer to dual SIM connectivity. Gadgets 360 was unable to verify the presence of the listings on the website.
The directory screenshot shared through the publication suggests that the phones got certified on January 13. However, the directory reveals main points about the devices apart from their imminent launch in India.
The Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G have reportedly appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification with similar model numbers. Recently, the design of the Galaxy F06 was leaked online, hinting at a redesigned camera module at the back that resembles the design language of the alleged Galaxy A36. It was noticeable with a pill-shaped island positioned vertically at the rear. It would come in black, blue, dark green, purple and orange tones.
As mentioned, the new Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G are expected to come with updates over last year’s Galaxy F05 and Galaxy M05. Both models were launched in September last year in India with a starting price of Rs. 9,999. 7,999 for the 4GB + 64GB RAM and garage option.
These phones are expected to feature a 6. 7-inch HD display and be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. They feature a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel camera. For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Samsung has included a 5000mAh battery in the Galaxy F05 and Galaxy M05 with 25W fast charging.
