In the end, a sharp drop in costs is a wonderful way to increase sales. SamMobile has the latest Figures for Strategy Analytics and reports that sales in the US are in the middle of the world. But it’s not the first time During the first month of the Galaxy S21 series they have tripled from last year.
The Galaxy S20 series arrived last year at MSRP for $1000 for base style, $1200 for the S20 Plus and $1400 for the S20 Ultra. This year, Samsung released a $200 drop in value across the line, resulting in a base style of $800, a style of over $1,000 and an Ultra style of $1,200. Most sensiblely, Samsung has also been more competitive in value declines, even in the first month of sales.
Additional readings Galaxy S21 Ultra – $200 less expensive but not yet competitive We have also noticed similar reports of an increase in sales of S21 in South Korea. Sales of the Galaxy S21 increased 1. 5 to 2 times in Korea, making the S21 the popular Samsung since the Galaxy S8 was released in 2017. Samsung UK also promoted strong sales.
Back in the US, Strategy Analytics notes that we still have an appetite for very expensive phones, the Galaxy S21 Ultra at $1200 representing 40% of Samsung’s sales.
These sales figures are triggered during the first month, however, this is a smart signal for Samsung’s flagship product. The company has begun to put more emphasis on costs in recent times, with those value cuts and the recent major release of the Galaxy A52.
