A minimum of a baccalaureate in the incredible United Kingdom (or foreign qualification of an equivalent standard) on a very quantitative topic such as you, mathematics, electrical or electronic engineering or physical sciences. Applicants must have studied mathematical issues widely used in the program (calculation, linear algebra and probability), and perceive concepts such as derivation, integration, series, matrix operations, Bayes inference. In addition, applicants must have something to delight in a programming language such as C / C ++, Java, Python or Matlab and will have to be able to perceive programming concepts such as functions, classes, inheritance, inheritance, the branch. and the loop.

The English Pré-Master and English Pre-Session classes are intended for overseas academics aiming to examine a third cycle degree at UCL. The courses will expand your English educational skills and your educational skills to succeed at the third cycle level.

More details will be available on our page on English language requirements.

Country-specific information, including details of when UCL representatives are visiting your part of the world, can be obtained from the International Students website.

International applicants can locate the qualification for their country through the installation of the list below. Please keep in mind that the equivalence will correspond to the wide degree of the United Kingdom shown on this page (for example, upper moment class). Where an express percentage is required in the United Kingdom, the foreign equivalence will be higher than the one shown below. Please, touch postgraduate admissions if you need additional guidance.

Robots and autonomous systems are very important in our society in the long term. In this program, you will be a long-time leader, engineer, or researcher in intelligent robotics, synthetic intelligence, and technology.

This MSC builds on UCL’s strengths in AI and IT, creating a new interdisciplinary examination domain that combines automatic engineering, IT, Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Engineering. The program also addresses the moral and legal effects of robotics on the company. World-renowned teachers will be informed that they are active researchers, employing their programming skills to power robot algorithms. You’ll paint with robots, add medical robots, drones, and manipulators, and note the vision, location, and mapping equipment of computers used in autonomous driving.

You will also have the UCL automatic learning modules and bring a really extensive project, whether educational or industrial. Studying in London, identified as the most productive city in the world to examine AI, still enriches its learning experience.

This program is ideal for you if you have forged skills in math and programming and aspire to paintings or look for robots. The delight of robots, the robot operating formula (ROS), the Raspberry Pi or the Arduino are beneficial.

This program gives you the following and opportunities:

Recognition of a leading university: UCL is classified among the most productive universities around the global (ninth classified in the qualification of the World 2025 University), which gives it a prestigious rating that is highly appreciated through employers in the global total . In addition, the UCL has been appointed Times and Sunday Times University of the Year 2024. High quality school of lower heads: be informed of global renowned academics who are at the forefront of IT innovation. The science of PC of UCL is identified by its excellence of studies, it is classified for the first time in England and time in the United Kingdom for the Study of Science of PC and PC in the last framework of excellence in studies in the kingdom (Ref. 2021). Wisdom and practical skills with a really extensive studies project. Many of these projects are carried out in Colhard’s work with industry partners through the IXN Industry Exchange network, providing it in a practical way and data on the valuable industry.   Solid employability with high employment rates and exit salaries: our graduates are so wanted in the hard work market, thanks to the greatest reputation of UCL skills and practices and aimed at the program acquired during the program. It will be well ready to participate in a variety of first -demand roles in Robotics and Ai. access to ultra modern facilities: examine on the Pointe de L’UCL campus, East UCL, accommodation of the intelligent robotics laboratory and intelligent robotics and the Laboratory innovation, with complex production equipment, electronic verification spaces and a movement capture system. Roles with the maximum intensity of studies in the industry. This emerging Detail of AI is essential for technological perspectives, and as an expert in long duration, it will help it and put it in force.

As this programme admitted its first cohort of students in September 2024, graduate destination information is not yet available.

Graduates from similar programmes work in sectors like medical device development, industrial processing, data analytics, machine learning, and autonomous navigation. There are ample opportunities to work in research and academia, too.

This program is preparing for roles in robotics-like industries and professions that require engineering or analytical skills. It will expand the ability to create robotic responses and meet demanding automation situations in sectors, adding manufacturing, security, physical care, etc.

You’ll have regular opportunities to connect, collaborate and network with peers and members of academia and industry as part of your Master’s, particularly through collaborative project work and research seminars.

This program is through a mix of lectures, tutorials, lab courses. Their autonomous learning is supported through online resources.

You will be assessed through various methods, including coursework, projects, exams, and a final research project/dissertation.

For full -time students, the typical tactile hours are around 16 to 19 hours of touch consisting of the teaching week, according to the options of modules and schedules. These hours of touch come with conferences, seminars, workshops and tutorials, hours and other events.

In addition to these sessions, academics have interaction in a self -edible vital exam and complete evaluations. Formal schooling and autonomous examination are composed in combination of a workload comparable to complete employment, about 35 to 40 hours consistent with the week in total.

The term 1 is composed of 4 mandatory modules, which are the basic basic concepts of how style and a robot formula that uses project -based learning.   The term 2 includes some other mandatory module on mapping and location, and academics decide 3 optional modules, with optional subjects, adding learning of devices and synthetic intelligence; Interaction and teleperation of the human robot; and robot formula practices.   Term 3 will be committed to your individual final project/thesis.

UCL Intraclage has complex facilities designed for your learning experience. Our recently renewed laboratories, with 55 PC of higher performance, giant computer area and flexible force options, create an optimal exam environment. UCL EAST is the house of our intelligent robot laboratory, an innovation and a complex center. The facilities come with the new innovation laboratory, which combines a cluster of IT, a complex production device (such as 3-D printers, laser cutters and electric tools), and an electronic production and verification area, all in a single area . The laboratory also has a movement capture formula to get experiments on the robot and human movement. In addition, the UCL has a student award for medium -sized students and 18 specialized libraries, making sure you have access to higher level resources and examine the areas.

For holders of full time and time bids, a charge deposit will be billed at 10% of the charges for the first year.

Further information can be found in the Tuition fee deposits section on this page: Tuition fees.

Students will want a fashion PC with minimal specifications of 8 GB of RAM and 500 GB of SSD garage with a camera and a microphone. However, we present at least 16 GB of RAM and 0. 5-1TB SSD. If you are making plans to assume a device learning project, there will be computational capacity for you within the PC Science Department, however, it is possibly useful to have a capable GPU in the most sensitive of the above. This program requires that an Ubuntu Linux establish the surroundings in its most sensible that can execute ros graphics programs such as Gazebo and Rviz. Dual Boot is the option I like, but virtual machines are also viable if the configuration is correct. For users who have less experience with Linux distributions, we locate that this is more difficult to configure in Mac than Windows devices. We firmly present that it takes these points to the attention when opting for a sensitive lapetra for this program.

UCL’s main teaching locations are in zones 1 (Bloomsbury) and zones 2/3 (UCL East). The cost of a monthly 18+ Oyster travel card for zones 1-2 is £114.50. This price was published by TfL in 2024.
