Republican Convention TV ratings lower Democrats last night

President Donald Trump’s speech at the 2020 Republican National Convention attracted fewer audiences than Joe Biden’s speech at the Democratic National Convention last week to Nielsen.

An estimated 23. 8 million viewers watched the last night of the RNC on Thursday, while 24. 6 million viewers tuned in on the last night of the DNC last week.

The DNC scored higher than the RNC on 3 of the conference’s 4 nights, with the RNC’s time of night, which featured First Lady Melania Trump as speaker, defeating the DNC.

Trump is paying attention to this year’s conference notes and insisted that his RNC speech would exceed the “pathetic” numbers of the DNC, the Daily Beast, which mentioned a senior management official, reported.

Still, Trump tweeted: “Excellent ratings and last night. Thank you!” Friday morning.

Trump’s 70-minute speech was the second longest in the history of fashion conventions, just his 75-minute speech at the 2016 RNC.
