Unsurprisingly, the first smartphone with up to 24GB of RAM has arrived. The RedMagic 8S Pro is a gaming phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen 2 processor, a fan for active cooling, and a 6. 8-inch FHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 960Hz touch sample rate.
The phone is available for pre-order in China now and is expected to be available in that country next week. Prices start at CNY5,499 ($760) for a model with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 4. 0, but consumers who need more of each can pay up to CNY7499 ($1035) for a style with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Red Magic is also accepting pre-orders for a less expensive style called the RedMagic 8S Pro, which has the same display and processor, but costs diversity from CNY3,999 ($550) for an 8GB/128GB style to CNY5,699 ($785) for a 12GB/512GB configuration.
Both phones have 2,480 x 1,116-pixel AMOLED displays with a 20:9 aspect ratio, maximum brightness of 1,300 nits, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and Gorilla Glass 5. Both have airborne cause keys with 520Hz touch sample rates, 50MP rear cameras, and 16MP front cameras. And they have stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra sound, 3 microphones, 3. 5mm audio jacks and USB Type-C ports with support, charging, data and video output.
The smartphones feature two sets of RGB lighting fixtures that activate on the shoulder and an illuminated REDMAGIC logo. There’s also a “Red Core 2” chip that helps sync lighting effects with sound.
Other features come with WiFi 7, x-axis linear motors with “over two hundred types of vibration effects,” and RedMagic OS 8 software (which is the company’s traditional Android 13 edition).
But while RedMagic 8S Pro and Pro are the same in many ways, reminiscence and garage are the only differences. The Red Magic 8S Pro has a 6,000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging, while the 8S Pro has a smaller 5,000mAh battery but it’s faster. charging up to 165 watts.
The company claims it takes around 35 minutes to fully qualify the 8S Pro with an 80W tester, while a 165W AC adapter can rate the 8S Pro in as little as 14 minutes.
The RedMagic 8S and 8S Pro measure 164 x 76 x 9mm, but the Pro is heavier, at 230 grams (compared to the 8S Pro’s 228 grams).
A foreign edition of the RedMagic 8S Pro is coming soon: the company plans to announce the device on July 18, hold a pre-sale on July 25, and begin open sales on July 27.

Very impressive specifications in this teleteletelephone, I am quite convinced of all the features, especially the 3. 5mm connector for the teleteleteletelephone head. It is still a minimum requirement for any flagship teletelephone for me. Originally, I was looking at the ROG teletelephone or the Sony Xperia, however, this teleteletelephone has heartbeats and also has a much higher value. I will probably be looking to upgrade my LG V60 over the next year and this teletelephone is lately a smart candidate to upgrade my V60.
