Realistic dinosaurs cheer up kids at DMC Children’s Hospital

A life-size dinosaur visited DMC Children’s Hospital in Detroit on Tuesday, courtesy of the National Dino.

The young men were to caress and dance with the creature in the lobby. The dinosaur also took a tour of the hospital so young people could see from their windows.

“Every time we get the opportunity to have something, laugh and play and let the kids be kids, that’s the most productive thing,” said Sinead Nimmo, a specialist at the Child Life Project.

“Giving our young people pleasure, joy and lightness was the purpose of today. “
