CALOOCAN CITY, July 28 (PIA) – The city government of Quezón has used synthetic intelligence (IA) to automate the tracking and tracking of suspected and probable cases.
Thanks to the recently introduced BANTAI COVID project, Mayor Joy Belmonte said, those who have been exposed to positive Americans for COVID-19 can be contacted remotely and monitored in real time via a short message service (SMS).
“The newer approach will avoid exposure and unnecessary risks to health care personnel,” Belmonte said, adding that as a patient with recovered COVID-19, it includes the considerations of those with the disease, especially asymptomatic patients.
“In addition to medical advice, we need you to know that you have to go or consult whenever you feel the need. We are pleased that this assignment addresses this issue,” Belmonte said.
Belmonte expressed his appreciation for the selection of the city as a pilot for its implementation.
“We welcome this assignment because this pandemic has led us all to innovate and new tactics to solve our emerging problems,” he added.
According to Dr. Rolando Cruz, head of the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU), the artificial intelligence-based mapping will create a centralized database repository for patient data and data, available to fitness personnel at all times.
“This will give us a real-time patient status census, adding the date of admission, discharge and recovery, among others. There will be more knowledge to interpret and use,” Cruz said.
The allocation will consist of the construction of fitness facilities by connecting patients with fitness experts without physical commitment through the use of the latest generation or telemedicine.
“Our fitness workers, in addition to volunteer doctors, will need to take a record and triage, and refer the patient to any hospital or quarantine center if necessary,” Cruz said.
