The cameras are modest but within the range expected for a phone of this price point. You get a 50 MP main camera flanked by a 2 MP secondary camera. On the front, Nubia included a 16 MP selfie camera.
Some other notable features come with a 4,310mAh battery and stressful 33W charging, which is designed for an affordable smartphone. There’s no wireless charging, though, so you should stick to stressful fast charging if you decide to get this phone.
Another notable omission is water resistance. While many foldable phones don’t come with dust resistance, most are water-resistant, making it unexpected that Nubia doesn’t include it. Another potential problem is that Nubia hasn’t announced a software update plan. for being foldable, and the company can be hit or miss, so keep that in mind if you decide to buy this device.
The Nubia Flip five can be pre-ordered now on the company’s website. Lately it’s offering a $20 discount with the code FLIP20, which is a huge plus. The device is expected to ship on April 23, 2024.
