The Pagosa Springs Photography Club’s June assembly will be held on Wednesday, June 6 at 6:30 p. m. at The Community United Methodist Church, 434 Lewis St.

It will be a hybrid meeting, also on Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed to members; other people who wish to attend can request the link via email abulter@mac. com. If you attend in person, feel free to arrive anytime after 6:00 p. m. m. ; the actual presentation will begin at 6:30 p. m.
It’s hard not to feel a sense of wonder when you look at the stars on a dark, soft night. Modern virtual cameras are capable of generating high-quality photographs from long exposures to low light. This allows photographers to take photographs of larger landscapes at night, generating amazing “night landscape” photographs in which the earth and sky are compositional elements.
In this presentation, Butler will talk about how to make plans and take pictures of nightscapes with the moon, the Milky Way, star trails and other features of the night sky. options, concentration and exposure considerations, and soft herbs and synthetics to remove darkness from the foreground.
The Pagosa Springs Photography Club encourages educational, social and fun interactions between those who love to make and see wonderful photographs.
