Yesterday, Apple released the current beta edition of iOS 17. In addition, the company released the first trial edition of visionOS along with its DevKit so developers can create apps for Apple Vision Pro. While searching through the files of the new operating system, the Twitter user @aaronp613 discovered which serial applications will be part of Apple Vision Pro.

Interestingly, Apple hasn’t included a Calculator app for Vision Pro, which is a laugh since the iPad doesn’t offer this app either. A report from The Information showed that some features had been removed throughout the progression of this product, and the ability to use Mac apps on the headset was one of them, meaning Apple Vision Pro runs the iPhone and iPad apps on a new model. Could this be the explanation for why the calculator doesn’t exist here?
Although the launch of Apple Reality Pro is still six months away, many things can change. Thankfully, we can already see what some developers will be able to offer with this platform once it’s available in the US. In the U. S. in early 2024.
